Fitness Coach in Halifax

START WITH A REALISTIC FITNESS PLAN

We help you get started and stay motivated with a fitness plan based on your needs. Whether you’re recovering from an illness or injury or you want to age youthfully, we’re here to help.

Regularly scheduled activities build habits. To reach your training goals, choose from individual or group fitness sessions—or a combination of the two. Sessions are held in our North End Halifax studio or online. Add nutrition guidance to your engagement with SpringStart so you can use food as a tool for more energy.

FITNESS COACHING SESSIONS FOR 50+

Choose your workout style! Your initial choice may change as you progress and your fitness regimen develops.

  • Individual training sessions benefit people who are new to fitness training, have specific medical issues, or are less comfortable working out with others. Private sessions are sometimes the best choice for people until they become more familiar with the movements.
  • Semi-private training sessions combine the social support of one other workout partner with individual attention from a coach. Normally, people who commit to exercising together find this method of training useful.
  • Small group fitness sessions provide a sense of support from others. Modifications for specific levels of strength and flexibility are provided for individuals in the group.

Tip: Once you are comfortable in small groups, consider combining private and small group sessions, using the private sessions as a personal check-in with the coach.

NUTRITIONAL CONSULTATIONS

Nutritional consultations are available in addition to workouts. Eating healthier food fuels your body better and encourages you to make better lifestyle choices.

Nadia is certified to provide both nutritional consults and fitness training.

BUILD ACCOUNTABILITY INTO YOUR WORKOUT

If fitness training were easy, everyone would be doing it. The reality is people often need the support of others to reach their fitness goals. As we have learned in the last few years, we are social beings and trying to do something in isolation doesn’t always work.

People get their motivation to continue through shared goals and support from others. Committing to an action that involves others adds another level of accountability. Being accountable to others gets you through the hardest part: getting a routine set in your brain and getting to the point when you start feeling long-term results. Once you have the habits set and start feeling stronger, fitter and more flexible, it won’t be difficult to continue.

Your fitness coach is accountable to you to provide guidance, some flexibility and realistic challenges during your personal training session.
